Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations products, seeks a Cross Divisional Account Executive in a hybrid role to drive growth of Cross Divisional accounts. The position emphasizes prospecting large national customers, relationship building with customers and the local sales team, and leveraging value-added selling programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of selling experience converting, penetrating and retaining medium to large accounts.
• 50% overnight travel expected.
• Ability to move to and from customer and associate locations and meetings within assigned geographic area while maintaining required insurance coverage.
• Execution of an Employment Agreement and/or revised Employment Agreement exhibits provided to the associate for review prior to execution.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management: cultivate strong relationships with customers nationally and with the local sales team.
• Prospecting and developing: grow a book of business with national customers using value-added selling programs.
• Planning and priority setting: plan weekly routes to prioritize customer stops and sales growth.
• Market knowledge: demonstrate products to potential customers, emphasizing American-made products.
• Achieve sales goals: meet or exceed quotas using our sales programs and training.
• Reporting: maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in our systems.
