Job summary

Caudalie in the United States and Canada seeks a North America Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and onboarding across the region. This role partners with employees and managers to deliver professional development and a high level of service.

You will lead the HR Coordinator, drive recruitment activities, manage leave programs, and ensure accurate payroll processing with ADP Workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, payroll, and employment law.
• Experience supporting multi-state payroll and benefits administration; hands-on ADP Workforce experience preferred.
• Experience interpreting and applying federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws; supervision experience preferred.
• Retail, consumer goods, beauty, or luxury industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations across the United States & Canada.
• Direct the new hire process, including offer letters, background checks, HRIS setup, and onboarding documentation.
• Oversee onboarding programs and ensure a consistent, compliant new hire experience.
• Partner with managers on recruitment activities, job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring decisions; maintain job descriptions; coordinate HR trainings.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and separations.
• Oversee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, 401(k), open enrollment, vendor management, and communications.
• Administer and oversee leave programs (FMLA, disability, accommodations) and return-to-work processes.
• Oversee workers' compensation, OSHA reporting, and related compliance; support safety initiatives and risk mitigation.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate company policies and handbooks to ensure compliance.
• Manage employment-related filings (unemployment claims, ACA reporting) and external vendor relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and programs.
