Job summary

Hexagon is seeking a Manager, Payroll & Benefits to lead North American payroll and benefits operations across the United States and Canada. The role reports to the Lead, HRIS Operations and focuses on accurate, compliant payroll delivery while driving transformation initiatives and building a scalable payroll function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with extensive knowledge of US/Canada payroll operations and benefits.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing payroll teams in multi-entity/multi-region environments.
• Hands-on experience with ADP payroll platforms, payroll implementations, testing (UAT, parallel testing, reconciliation), payroll transformation, and NA payroll compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll and benefits operations across the United States and Canada, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while mentoring a high-performing payroll team.
• Drive payroll transformation initiatives by leading harmonization, system consolidation, process optimization, testing activities, and developing a scalable global payroll roadmap.
• Partner with People & Culture, Finance, HRIS, IT, payroll vendors, and benefits providers to improve payroll operations, administer competitive benefits programs, and implement automation.
• Establish strong payroll governance, compliance, and internal control frameworks, ensuring adherence to US & Canada payroll legislation, reporting, and audit standards.
