Job summary

Sargent Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer in the United States to contribute to detailed electrical design and project management for high voltage substations. You will collaborate with engineers and designers on concept development, planning, and execution, delivering client-ready results.

The role emphasizes teamwork, quality reporting, and ongoing professional development within a hybrid work setup. A relocation package may be available based on location.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 3+ years MV power systems design.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Experience tracking schedules and budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Experience reviewing design drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
• Support challenging assignments that include investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports that present technical and project information clearly and meet client requirements and S&L formats.
• Develop career via peer-learning through Communities of Practice.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
