Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services, part of The Carrington Companies, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist I in a hybrid role. You will handle high volumes of calls from borrowers and third parties regarding existing mortgage loans, delivering accurate information and aiming for first-call resolution while following policy and regulatory requirements.

Base pay is $22.00 per hour with a monthly bonus; bilingual English/Spanish adds $1.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual English/Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service/call center experience preferred, but not required.
• Banking or Mortgage/Loan Servicing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer least complex incoming calls from borrowers and third parties about existing mortgage loans.
• Deliver accurate information with first-call resolution when feasible and compliant with regulations.
• Refer more complex calls to a qualified team member.
• Route tasks and contact supporting departments as needed.
• Track and follow up to ensure inquiry resolution.
• Document call details in the mortgage servicing system.
