Job summary

Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to negotiate delinquent mortgage accounts in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.

The role reports to the Team Lead and emphasizes timely payments and excellent customer service. The position handles about 100 outbound calls daily, supports 1,700–2,000 accounts, and assists with escrow, loan documents, and loss mitigation opportunities using VMF systems and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in collections, call center or loan servicing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email and in person.

Responsibilities

• Perform about 100 outbound calls daily to collect past due mortgage payments.
• Assist 1,700–2,000 accounts with mortgage-related questions.
• Review accounts for loss mitigation opportunities and document activities.
• Coordinate with other departments and meet performance targets.
