Job summary

Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Account Resolution Specialist to resolve delinquent accounts through negotiation and customer-focused service. The role requires Spanish/English fluency and reports to a Team Lead in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will perform outbound calls, review mortgage accounts, apply loss mitigation options, and document all activities. HS diploma and AS/400 familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Experience in Collections, Call Center or Loan Servicing is a plus.
• Basic computer skills; typing 25 wpm or more.
• Familiarity with View/AS400 system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform account reviews and audits for delinquent accounts and work toward resolution.
• Make outbound calls (approx. 100 per day) to collect past due mortgage payments.
• Assist borrowers with questions on escrow, loan documents, and VMF online portal offerings.
• Document all activities and communications in mortgage systems.
• Coordinate with other departments for timely loss mitigation and legal actions.
