Job summary

Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. in Greensboro is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to support loan servicing by negotiating delinquent accounts and guiding customers toward feasible repayment options.

The role reports to the Team Lead and requires adherence to state and federal guidelines while delivering exceptional service. The hybrid work schedule offers four days in-office and one remote day after training, with a total compensation range that reflects base pay plus performance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year experience.
• Experience in Collections, Call Center or Loan Servicing environment a plus.
• Basic computer skills with ability to type at least 25 wpm.
• Working knowledge of the View/AS400 system.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person.
• Ability to gather facts, analyze causes, evaluate alternate solutions, and arrive at sound conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Resolves customer delinquency through negotiation and problem-solving.
• Educates customers on timely payments and available assistance options.
• Maintains mortgage collections system with all activities and communications.
• Performs account reviews and actions for delinquent accounts.
• Coordinates with other departments as needed; attends team meetings and trainings.
