Job summary

Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist in Greensboro. The role supports delinquency resolution through negotiation, adherence to guidelines, and customer education on timely payments.

This position reports to the Team Lead within Loan Servicing and follows a hybrid schedule after training. The candidate will engage in outbound calls, review accounts, and coordinate with internal teams to determine appropriate loss-mitigation options while providing

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 0-1 year experience.
• Previous experience in a Collections, Call Center or Loan Servicing environment a plus.
• Basic computer skills with ability to type at least 25 wpm.
• Working knowledge of the View/AS400 system.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person.
• Ability to analyze debt and income information to set up payment plans.

Responsibilities

• Performs account reviews and audits of severely delinquent accounts for proper action and resolution.
• Performs approximately 100 outbound calls daily to collect on past due mortgage payments and resolve delinquency.
• Serve a portfolio of 1,700–2,000 accounts and assist borrowers with mortgage questions.
• Assist customers with escrow, insurance claims, VMF portal, loan documents, etc.
• Performs outbound email communication with customers.
• Analyze debt and income information to set up payment plans.
• Document all activities in mortgage collections system.
