GFT is seeking a Transportation Area Manager for the Mid-West Region to lead strategy, growth, and profitable project delivery. The role reports to the Regional Leader and requires broad responsibility for pipeline, planning, and staff leadership across transportation initiatives.

You will direct area finances, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring quality and compliance with safety and professional standards. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, architecture, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional licensure, registration, or relevant certification, and ability to obtain credentials where required.
• 15+ years of progressive transportation consulting, design planning, program management, or related experience, including at least 5 years leading staff and managers.
• Demonstrated success managing P&L, building client relationships, developing business, leading strategic pursuits, and delivering complex infrastructure projects profitably.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute the Area business plan and growth strategy.
• Own the area pipeline and sales forecast; identify, position, and advance opportunities from lead through pursuit and start.
• Lead or approve go/no-go decisions, teaming, capture plans, pricing inputs, and proposals.
• Build trusted client relationships and serve as CSL or pursuit leader for key accounts.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to drive growth actions and measurable sales results.
• Own Area Financial and operating results, including revenue, profitability, and cash performance.
• Lead budgets, workload planning, staffing, and resource deployment.
