Job summary

You will manage merchandising for assigned categories, develop strategies to hit sales and margin goals, and collaborate with vendors to optimize pricing and assortment. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2-5 years of merchandising/retail operations experience, with strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

• 2-5 years of professional merchandising or retail operations experience.
• Knowledge of vendor negotiation techniques.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee merchandising functions for assigned categories and support sales and margin goals.
• Develop and execute merchandising plans and forecasts; manage open-to-buy with category teams.
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, delivery and terms to optimize assortment and profitability.
• Create planograms and assess merchandising mix based on trends and business needs.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve assortment and pricing strategies.
