Job summary

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in merchandising/category management, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a track record of delivering business results in apparel or related categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or operations related field is required.
• MBA is optional but advantageous for the role.
• Experience in merchandising/category management is essential.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills are expected.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive profitability.
• Experience with apparel categories is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth, category profitability and customer experience for assigned categories.
• Develop competitive merchandise annual plans aligned to financial objectives.
• Monitor trends and adjust assortment and vendor bases as needed.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
• Lead merchandise team and provide direction and coaching.
• Execute merchandising strategies across cross-functional teams.
