Job summary

You will guide a team of engineers and modelers, ensuring integration with other disciplines while delivering high-quality documentation.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and strong skills in energy modeling, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or senior design roles.
• HVAC and plumbing design for healthcare, education, and commercial projects.
• Proficiency with energy modeling and load calculation software.
• Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD for coordination and review.
• Strong communication, documentation, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple HVAC and plumbing projects across design and construction phases.
• Lead a team of engineers and modelers to develop system designs and docs.
• Oversee client communication, project schedules, and cross-discipline coordination.
• Review energy models, load calculations, and design deliverables for quality.
• Provide guidance on system integration, controls, and performance testing.
• Conduct site visits and evaluations across Northern California.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure technical solutions meet goals.
