Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. (EDI) supports SITC by handling communications and membership processes for the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC).

The role reports to the Senior Communications Manager in a full-time, on-site office setting in Milwaukee, WI, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two days onsite. Responsibilities include coordinating email campaigns, print and digital materials, membership applications, and SIG activities, while maintaining accurate membership records and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; communications, marketing or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of work experience in a professional setting or nonprofit role.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Sr. Communications Manager in executing marketing and communications initiatives to increase audience engagement and support membership recruitment and retention goals.
• Coordinates development and distribution of print and digital promotional materials and manages mailing projects.
• Provides first-line support for general society inquiries via phone and departmental email accounts.
• Coordinates processing of new member applications, including follow-up communications and data integrity checks.
• Supports management of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and member communities with communications and administrative tasks.
• Provides administrative and project support for department meetings and membership initiatives, including scheduling and minutes.
• Coordinates logistics for exhibits and maintains inventory of marketing materials and giveaways.
• Other duties as assigned.
