Job summary

Fives Intralogistics Corp. in the United States (Kentucky) seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer II to design equipment, manage installation drawings, and guide small to mid-size integration projects from concept to completion.

You will ensure technical accuracy, safety, and quality while leading a cross-functional team and coordinating with supply chain and field installation personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years relevant experience.
• 2D CAD skills, AutoCAD 2015 or higher.
• Proven technical leadership for medium to large scale projects.
• Directly managed a technical team with 1–3 resources.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent.
• Understanding pneumatics a plus; structural platforms/mezzanines design a plus.
• Understanding PLM & ERP software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scope of work and technical specification documents during proposal and execution phases.
• Review and select appropriate Fives & OEM equipment to satisfy project requirements.
• Verify system design for compliance with engineering principles and customer specs.
• Ensure all tasks, milestones, schedules and budgets are defined, communicated, reported and met.
• Provide technical leadership to supply chain, production and field personnel.
• Prepare progress and budget/schedule reports as assigned.
• Breaks-down projects into tasks with the SCRUM Master.
