Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in applications engineering, estimating, or industrial system design.
• Proven ownership of material and labor estimates for capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Intake and qualification of opportunities and bids.
• Decide equipment approach, size, and layout to meet throughput and hours.
• Own SketchUp/AutoCAD layouts and system manifest.
• Build complete mechanical estimates and BOM.
• Document cost drivers, assumptions and risk allowances clearly.
• Own the technical narrative and proposal content.
• Evaluate vendor/subcontractor pricing and assist selection.
• Deliver package with reasoning and assumptions for execution.
