Job summary

Dev Technology is seeking a Mid-Level Manual Tester to support federal software delivery, ensuring applications meet business requirements, performance expectations, and quality standards before release. You will work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to identify defects and ensure reliable user experiences across platforms.

The role requires 3+ years of QA experience, strong SDLC/STLC knowledge, and Jira/Azure DevOps usage, with Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
Experience testing web-based applications and enterprise software solutions.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Validate application functionality, data accuracy, and system integrations.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Participate actively in Agile development processes.
Support release testing and production validation activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation.
