Job summary

IAT Insurance Group is hiring a Management Liability Claims Specialist. The role handles EPL, D&O, fiduciary, and crime claims for private and non‑profit clients, performing analysis, negotiation, and strategy development.

You will work in a hybrid office setting with colleagues Monday–Wednesday and remote Thu–Fri, and you may travel about one day per month. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree with extensive management liability claims experience and strong coverage analysis,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of management liability claims experience or equivalent
• Equivalent experience defined as 9+ years in claims involving litigation
• Excellent coverage analysis skills with experience drafting coverage position letters
• Experience handling litigated files and directing defense counsel
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Willing to travel, average 1 day a month
• Claims Licensure as required by states
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritise work
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Handle Management Liability Claims (EPL, D&O, Fiduciary, Crime) for Private and Non‑Profit clients
• Analyze, investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims within authority
• Direct defense counsel and approve budgets
• Develop litigation/file disposition strategy; attend mediations and trials
• Verify coverage for reported claims
• Prepare reports reflecting loss development and exposure
• Maintain 24-hour contact with stakeholders
• Identify recovery opportunities and reserves
• Draft coverage letters to stakeholders
• Support underwriting/marketing as needed
