Job summary
Entech is seeking a Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and maintain COBOL-based applications in a hybrid onsite role in Malvern, PA. You will work with CICS, SQL, DB2, and VSAM, collaborating with cross-functional teams and offshore groups.
The role emphasizes modern SDLC practices including AGILE/SCRUM, TDD, and DevOps tooling. Applicants should have 5+ years of experience in mainframe environments, with strong knowledge of JCL, batch processing, and Endevor.
Qualifications
- Experience designing, developing, and testing mainframe applications.
- Proficient in JCL, PROCs, and mainframe batch processing.
- Strong SQL and DB2 performance optimization.
- Experience with ServiceNow and Confluence for docs.
- Familiar with AGILE (SCRUM), TDD, Waterfall SDLC models.
- Experience with DevOps practices including JIRA and Github.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Experience with Endevor for Version Management.
