Job description

Position: Mainframe Developer

Location: Malvern, PA - Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications on mainframe systems using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Strong knowledge of DB2.
• Code, test, debug, and maintain mainframe applications.
• Resolve data defects and collaborate with product teams to ensure system performance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Problem‑solving abilities and experience with mainframe tools and utilities.
• Ability to create high‑performance, mission‑critical applications and analyze user requirements.
• Ensure software meets performance and security requirements.
• Collaborate with other developers to build scalable applications.
• Research new technologies and software development trends.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Write technical documentation.
