Job summary

Qualifications

• Three or more years in Procurement, Logistics or Dispatch, or Carrier Relations.
• One year of formal or informal team lead experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of carrier relations, rate negotiation, and dispatch execution.
• Intermediate Excel, Access, and Outlook competence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Procurement Analysts and Logistics Analysts to optimize daily workflows.
• Direct carrier bid strategy and approve negotiated freight rates within supervisory thresholds.
• Oversee order creation, dispatch, monitoring, and same-day dispatch confirmation.
• Coordinate handoffs between procurement and logistics for carrier coverage.
• Escalate complex pricing, capacity, and carrier issues to management.
• Provide cross-functional training and coverage across shifts.
• Support quarterly business reviews with top delivery partners.
