Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Logistics Specialist in Lombard, IL. The role supports the Operations Administrator with office administration, travel logistics, document production, project coordination, and field staff support.

This 40-hour, regular position will operate from the Lombard office and be hybrid. We value proactive problem solvers with strong communication skills, ability to manage schedules, logistics, and safety gear, plus experience with MS Office and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and ability to drive multiple vehicle types.
• Willingness to perform various office tasks and learn new ones.
• Experience with scheduling and meeting coordination.
• Ability to write and communicate clearly.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program and project logistics for staff and fieldwork.
• Arrange travel, vehicles, equipment, and supplies; support expense reporting.
• Develop relationships with leads for planning and field services.
• Manage safety gear, inventory, and equipment assets.
• Track expenditures and reconcile office credit card statements.
• Provide document production and mailing support and organize records.
