Job summary

Venture Solutions is seeking a Logistics Engineer in Michigan to develop logistics and transportation plans for customers and pre-sales efforts. You will design routes, initiate optimization projects, and track KPIs while coordinating with control tower teams.

The role requires automotive logistics experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with TMS and routing tools. This is a hybrid position with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or business related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience in automotive logistics preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and optimization tools.
• Ability to lead meetings and present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop logistics and transportation plans for assigned customers and pre-sales activities.
• Design optimal routes to minimize miles and optimize conveyances.
• Initiate and manage projects to realize savings and network optimization.
• Track and communicate key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with logistics managers and control tower operations.
