Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a Logistics Planner in Dearborn, MI. The role supports the development of the logistics design plan for the customer inbound supply chain and creates instructions for internal teams and providers to implement the plan.

Responsibilities include developing day-to-day route design deliverables, coordinating system implementations with customers and suppliers, and maintaining cross-dock tools. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Prior transportation/3PL experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain regular attendance.
• Willingness to travel as needed and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop day-to-day route design deliverables for the customer.
• Coordinate logistics system implementation with customers and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain cross-dock tools and services.
• Provide data for management reporting on performance.
• Utilize customer data interchange for operations.
• Contribute to data-driven management decisions.
• Handle other projects as assigned.
