Lineage is seeking an experienced and highly organized professional to support a hybrid work schedule in Novi, with onsite Tue-Thu and remote Mon/Fri, 8 PM EST - 5 PM EST. The role focuses on administrative support, calendar management, and coordinating transportation operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong shipping/transport coordination experience, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years shipping or transportation coordination experience.
• Familiar with import/export processes.
• Experience with transportation management software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple orders across customers daily.
• Set pick up/delivery appointments based on service and schedule requirements.
• Interface with customer base to facilitate problem resolution and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure carrier/accessorial costs are communicated timely.
• Monitor carrier performance and recommend routing changes as required.
• Evaluate carrier alternatives and tender freight based on cost/service requirements.
• Maximize profit margins while meeting customer requirements.
