Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer for a hybrid role in Novi, MI, requiring 2-3 days onsite weekly. You will lead warehousing design projects, collaborating with Sales, Finance, Operations and Network Optimization to craft best-in-class operating solutions, balancing cost, service, processes and technology considerations.

You will model scenarios, validate data, and develop pricing and staffing plans, while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver measurable value and efficiencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and experience.
• Master’s Degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP documents and develop solution design hypotheses to meet customer needs.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, profiling and baseline development.
• Estimate labor, equipment, facility and expense requirements for warehousing design.
• Develop and utilize pricing models to assess capital projects and customer solutions.
• Lead internal reviews of pricing models and customer pricing construction.
• Support design reviews and validation meetings with the team.
• Validate designs with operations to realize value and efficiency.
• Contribute to improving engineering standards, methods and tools.
