Job summary

Worldwide Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a domestic background. You will coordinate shipments, quote transportation options, and partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless delivery for customers.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including hybrid work with in-office days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years freight brokerage/logistics experience
• Hands-on LTL and TL/FTL experience
• Experience with drayage and/or air freight
• TMS experience
• Quoting and carrier rate negotiation
• Customer-facing experience
• Track & trace
• Understanding of LTL classification/NMFC/density
• Strong Excel skills - PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic reporting
• Ability to independently manage a shipment from quote through delivery

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers; primary contact for logistics inquiries from internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Quote transportation options and coordinate shipments; work with Carrier Sales for timely dispatch.
• Track shipments and provide regular customer updates throughout the transport process.
• Stay informed on market dynamics and pricing trends.
