Job summary

Align Credit Union in Lowell, MA is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative I to handle foundational loan servicing tasks, fund loans, and support members with online banking and digital services.

You will work under others, develop knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and home equity loans, and grow into more complex servicing duties while complying with regulations and investor requirements. This hybrid role requires on-site two days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Fund approved consumer, mortgage, home equity, and other loans with complete documentation prior to funding.
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance of loans, including payments and account maintenance.
• Process paid-loan documentation and manage liens, titles, and collateral records.
• Handle daily mail, loan payments, payoff activity, and related reports within deadlines.
• Assist members with loan questions and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Support Online Banking and digital services; educate members on self-service options.
• Provide backup Contact Center support for routine inquiries.
• Cross-train across servicing tasks to ensure department coverage.
• Ensure compliance with policies, investor requirements, and regulations.
