Job summary

LendKey in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Loan Collections Specialist to outreach to past-due borrowers, negotiate payment arrangements, and uphold compliance with federal and state laws.

You’ll work a hybrid schedule (Blue Ash office Mon–Wed, Thu–Fri option to work from home) with competitive pay starting at $20/hour plus $1 when closing shifts and a monthly bonus up to $800, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Outbound collection calls to borrowers and cosigners on past-due accounts.
• Negotiation and establishment of payment arrangements.
• Counsel borrowers with professionalism to explain repayment options.
• Assist with resolving delinquent balances through cash collections or forbearance when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of borrower information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound collection calls to borrowers and cosigners on past-due accounts
• Negotiate and establish payment arrangements that align with both borrower capability and company policy
• Counsel borrowers with professionalism and confidence to help them understand repayment options
• Assist with resolving delinquent loan balances through cash collections or forbearance when appropriate
• Demonstrate knowledge of loan products, systems, and collections processes
• Maintain confidentiality and security of borrower information at all times
• Problem-solve and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Document all collection activity and borrower communications in the system
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve borrower concerns and ensure a seamless customer experience
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
