Job summary

Sisters of Mercy of the Americas seeks a Senior Learning and Development Specialist in Merion, PA to manage the LMS, support onboarding, and optimize employee development initiatives. You will partner with HR and Organizational Development to drive growth and upskilling in a mission-driven environment.

In this role, you will design and deliver virtual and instructor-led trainings, monitor compliance, create dashboards, and ensure data-driven decisions. Travel about 10–15% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience administering an LMS or supporting learning operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with virtual training and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer LMS as primary administrator: user access, curricula, certifications, compliance tracking.
• Maintain and optimize LMS functionality; provide user support and improve UX.
• Monitor training compliance and partner with leaders to ensure timely completion.
• Develop learning materials, program communications, and job aids.
• Develop and facilitate virtual and instructor-led learning sessions.
