Job summary

Kay Search Group is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal in New York, NY (Hybrid) to handle complex matters from discovery through trial support. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and strong collaboration with attorneys.

You will manage discovery, document production, and deposition prep, while drafting summaries and coordinating logistics for negotiations, arbitrations, and trials. A base salary up to $150K plus overtime and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or ABA Paralegal Certification is required
• 8+ years of relevant experience in litigation paralegal work
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Adobe; legal research platforms like Westlaw/LexisNexis
• Knowledge of litigation processes and court procedures; ability to anticipate attorney needs
• Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with discovery including gathering evidence, obtaining contracts and performing legal and factual research
• Assist with document production including organizing documents, creating and maintaining privilege logs, performing bates-stamping, redaction, duplication and indexing of documents and maintaining exhibits
• Attend client meetings, court appearances and depositions, digesting and drafting concise and accurate summaries
• Facilitate and coordinate all logistics during negotiations, arbitrations, trials and/or settlements
• Draft and e-file motions, pleadings, summons, complaints, subpoenas, etc.
• Monitor case status tracking updates, due dates and appearances, providing updates to both Attorneys and Clients
