Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
• Paralegal studies certificate preferred.
• Certified Paralegal a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists attorneys in all stages of litigation from onset through post-trial.
• Oversees organization of documents and case materials for efficient review.
• Assists with discovery, depositions, and responses to written discovery; prepares for expert discovery.
• Reviews and conducts document productions; tracks review progress and results.
• Performs legal research, including locating cases and statutes, and summarizes findings.
• Assists with law and motion practice, files briefings, and ensures proper service.
• Drafts pleadings, motions, notices and other court filings.
• Ensures compliance with procedural rules and citations; proofreading briefs and documents.
• Assists with trial preparation, prepares trial notebooks, coordinates witnesses and calendars.
• Supports post-trial filings including costs, sanctions, and potential appeals.
