Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably with insurance defense.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Experience billing time and understanding law-firm billing practices.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage large volumes.
• Proficient with legal research tools and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical records via authorizations and subpoenas with timely follow-ups.
• Maintain discovery charts and organize case data for efficiency.
• Issue Public Records Requests and support litigation research.
• Analyze medical records and prepare chronologies for insights.
• Draft answers to complaints and support depositions and discovery.
• Summarize transcripts and manage key documents for timely follow-ups.
• Prepare document productions and coordinate with insured files.
• Communicate with clients and claim reps to complete discovery.
• Organize materials for expert review and trial prep.
• Assist with trial logistics and pretrial materials.
