Job summary

Wilson Elser, a national law firm, seeks an experienced litigation paralegal for a hybrid role with 40% remote work. The position requires 5+ years of paralegal or insurance claims experience in a fast-paced setting.

You will perform searches, manage records, draft discovery and trial materials, and support attorneys through all stages of litigation with proactive prioritization and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a litigation paralegal or insurance claims handler in a fast paced, high volume, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct searches via Lexis and social media
• Process and follow up on authorizations for the receipt of medical, employment, worker’s compensation, disability, tax, union, educational and other records
• Order records and maintain a production log
• Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants
• Draft discovery requests and answers
• Draft stipulations, orders, motions to compel, motions for show cause
• Redact and Bates stamp documents
• Determine, prepare and organize material needed for expert witness review, mediation, and deposition
• Trial preparation, including determination and preparation of exhibits, witness materials, and pre-trial filings
