Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff in San Francisco is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support a dynamic litigation team in a hybrid work environment. This role requires 3+ years of litigation experience and proficiency with federal and state filings.

You will manage calendars, discovery, e-filing, client communications, and coordinate travel, with opportunities for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience and a High School Diploma required.
• Experience with federal and state filings.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of TOC/TOA/Styles and PDF software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, redline and proofread pleadings and motions across federal, state and local levels.
• Manage case calendars, correspondence with courts, clients, witnesses and opposing counsel.
• Assist with discovery requests and trial preparation materials.
• Maintain client and administrative files per firm procedures and document management systems.
• Coordinate travel and track expenses for timely reimbursement.
• Enter and review attorney time and ensure timely billing.
