Job summary
Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Executive – Life Sciences to drive revenue growth in the Sterling, VA and Wilson, NC laboratories. The role sources new clients in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device markets, handling outbound lead generation and inbound follow-up.
It is a hybrid position with travel between Sterling and Wilson. The successful candidate will prospect, secure new clients, and manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to contract
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, life sciences, chemistry, biology, or related field.
- MS/PhD in life sciences or related discipline is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years in life sciences, pharma, CRO, or GMP-regulated industry.
- Sales experience and customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new life sciences clients through inbound and outbound outreach.
- Cultivate relationships to drive GMP analytical testing and related services.
- Develop and execute territory business plans for Sterling, VA and Wilson, NC.
- Stay informed on GMP regulations, industry trends, pricing, and competitors.
