Job summary

The University of Michigan Library in Ann Arbor is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to oversee construction, facilities maintenance, and related programs across about 800,000 square feet. You will report to the Director of Library Facilities and lead critical projects and technical initiatives with cross-departmental teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance through the Facilities Service Center, managing renovations and office moves, and supporting space management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years coordinating daily operations of complex facilities.
• Five or more years in construction/project management.
• Proactive customer service and effective communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and leadership

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance issues via the U-M Facilities Service Center.
• Monitor ticketing system for staff and patron requests.
• Manage library-wide programs and initiatives.
• Lead renovations and office move projects and documentation.
• Support strategic planning for the Library Facilities department.
