University of Notre Dame’s Hesburgh Libraries seeks a Facilities Program Director to lead all facets of building operations, space management, maintenance, and safety for the iconic Hesburgh Library, a major campus hub serving over 1 million visitors annually.

The role drives large renovation projects, collaborates with University maintenance and external partners, and acts as a strategic communicator to keep stakeholders informed and aligned with campus priorities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building operations and basic knowledge of mechanical equipment.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management: oversee Hesburgh Library's 430,000 sq ft and supervise facilities staff.
• Maintenance: perform basic tasks and coordinate with maintenance units.
• Renovation: co-lead large-scale renovation projects with design/ops units and contractors.
