Job summary

Professional Alternatives, a Texas-based recruiting firm, is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator in Austin. The role supports lateral attorney recruiting, campus programs, and the summer associate track in a hybrid environment.

You'll coordinate postings, interviews, bar verification, and events, while partnering with HR, IT, marketing, and finance to ensure a strong candidate experience. Legal recruiting experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Confident, polished, and service-minded with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning recruiting/ATS tools.
• Recruiting, campus recruiting, and/or professional services experience preferred (legal experience not required).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lateral attorney recruiting: postings, candidate communication, scheduling, interview logistics, travel, feedback tracking.
• Support candidate due diligence: bar verification, references/background steps, conflicts information and documentation.
• Run campus recruiting workflow: OCI/job fairs, law school relationships, screening/callback coordination, timelines and follow-up.
• Help execute the summer associate program: schedules, trainings, events, evaluations/offer support.
• Plan events and manage vendors; track budgets/expenses and maintain recruiting records/reports.
• Collaborate with hr/it/marketing/finance to support onboarding and a strong candidate experience.
• Provide backup support for conflicts checks as needed.
