Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Legal Advisor focusing on procurement and supply chain to guide the company through complex contracts, tender processes, and supplier negotiations. The role is based in Upington with a hybrid work model balancing office collaboration and remote work.

You will draft and review procurement agreements, manage supply chain risks, ensure compliance with South African procurement laws, and advise stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts related to procurement and supply chain.
• Strong understanding of South African procurement legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on procurement, tender processes, contract awards, and supplier management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers, service providers, and logistics partners.
