Placements24 is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager based in Upington, Northern Cape, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on developing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-effective procurement across the organization.

The candidate will lead a team, optimize processes, and deliver reports on savings and performance while ensuring compliance with ethics and regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in procurement and supply chain management with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Oversee the procurement lifecycle from needs to contracts.
• Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Manage and develop a procurement team.
