Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Technical Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of UK commercial claims on a hybrid basis with an office base in Leeds. The role focuses on timely claims progression, insurer coordination, and client advocacy to secure favorable outcomes.

You will provide expert guidance across Property, CAR and Casualty classes, with potential exposure to Product Liability and Financial Lines. Strong organisation and mentoring skills are valued, along with exceptional interpersonal

Qualifications

• Experience handling UK commercial claims.
• Ability to build strong client relationships to secure best outcomes.
• Experience across core classes such as Property, CAR and Casualty; Financial Lines beneficial.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial claims from FNOL to settlement.
• Ensure timely intimation to insurers and confirm cover.
• Coordinate claims and advocate for clients throughout the process.
• Provide expert guidance and technical analysis to clients.
• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and internal servicing contacts.
• Produce claims experience reports and attend review meetings as needed.
