Dahl Consulting seeks a Leave of Absence Analyst to join its HR team in Minnetonka, MN. You will administer FMLA, STD, LTD, and other leave programs, ensuring compliance and a high level of service for employees, leaders, and external vendors.

This contract role (4 months) offers hybrid work with on-site days Tue–Thu. Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of experience in leave administration, strong regulatory know-how, and proficiency with UKG, ServiceNow, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 3–7 years of leave administration experience (FMLA, STD, LTD).
• Experience in a mid-size or large organization (2,000+ employees preferred).
• Strong knowledge of federal and state leave regulations.
• Excellent case management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with HR systems (UKG, ServiceNow) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review and process leave requests, determine eligibility, and document adherence to policy.
• Administer FMLA, STD, LTD, and workers' comp leave.
• Maintain accurate leave records and documentation.
• Liaise with third-party leave administrators to ensure service quality.
• Monitor cases across HR, payroll, benefits, and vendors.
• Respond to inquiries about policies, leave processes, and return-to-work.
