Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT, is seeking a Manager to lead the Supplier Quality Engineering team within the Industrialization Group. You will oversee 15–20 engineers and cost engineers, driving on-time delivery, quality, and cost outcomes while coordinating with design, program teams, and key suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering (Masters preferred), 8+ years of experience with direct reports, and strong Lean Six Sigma and project-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Eng Physics, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with 5 years work experience managing direct reports.
• Lean Six Sigma experience including tooling (e.g. SPC, FMEA, 8D).
• Experience in project management in complex high-tech low-volume industry.
• Experienced in supplier management & cost management.
• Experience in quality improvement & operational excellence in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in participating in improvement projects, including with suppliers.
• Working closely with suppliers on technical/manufacturing process development including mFLOW, pFMEA, SPC, RCA, 8D, etc.
• Direct manufacturing experience (optical, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of 15-20 engineers (supplier quality & cost engineers).
• Develop and sustain project results: on-time delivery of Wilton's products to the specified performance at the right quality, reliability, move-rate, and cost.
• Secure the quality of the team's deliverables—industrialization & cost documentation, and physical material from our suppliers (through all n-tier).
• Own and maintain responsibility for the working methods of the Supplier Quality Engineering team, including training, communication, and process maturity management.
• Build and develop technical supplier quality competences within ASML's supply chain (e.g., SPC, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, operational excellence).
• Organize and drive training for your group.
• Lead recruiting activities for your group and build your team with competent employees.
• Support your team's technology development: stay current with latest tech and map for suppliers.
• Manage stakeholders: communicate with stakeholders and customers, set expectations, close gaps.
• Create a vision for your group and foster a learning organization with continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 20% primarily in the US with some travel to Europe/Asia.
