Job summary

ASML US in Wilton, CT seeks a senior leader to direct the Supplier Quality Engineering team. You will drive on-time delivery, cost, and quality for Wilton products, coordinate with suppliers, and mentor engineers in industrialization and cost initiatives.

You will build expert capabilities, manage budgets, and lead recruitment while coordinating with project managers on technology roadmaps and process improvements. Some travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with 5 years managing direct reports.
• Leading teams in a high-tech development and manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) with tooling (SPC, FMEA, 8D).
• Experience in project management in complex high-tech low-volume industry.
• Experience in supplier management & cost management.
• Experience in quality improvement & operational excellence in manufacturing.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers on technical/manufacturing process development (mFLOW, PFMEA, SPC, RCA, 8D).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of 15–20 engineers (supplier quality & cost engineers).
• Develop and sustain on-time delivery of Wilton’s products to target performance, quality, move-rate, and cost.
• Secure the quality of the team’s deliverables—industrialization & cost documentation and material from suppliers through the n-tier supply chain.
• Own and maintain the competence activities of the Supplier Quality Engineering team including training and process maturity management.
• Build and develop technical supplier quality competences within ASML’s supply chain (e.g., SPC, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, operational excellence).
• Organize and drive training for your group.
• Lead recruiting activities for your group.
• Support technology development and roadmapping with project managers and module architects.
• Develop problem-solving capabilities and lessons learned; create technical solutions with your team.
• Manage stakeholders; communicate with stakeholders and customers regularly; set expectations.
• Create a vision for the group and drive continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 20% primarily within the US with some travel to Europe and Asia.
