Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland (PPM) seeks an Area Manager – Health Center Operations to oversee performance across health centers in Baltimore, Towson, Owings Mills, and Frederick. You will coach Health Center Managers, ensure patient-centered care, and drive operational, financial, and access goals.

The role is 80% on-site and 20% remote, requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years of healthcare operations leadership, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field required.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance across health centers in North/Central Maryland.
• Coach and mentor Health Center Managers; supervise multi-site operations.
• Drive financial stewardship; monitor revenue, expenses and budget variances.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, Title X, Medicaid/Medicare, and accreditation standards.
• Promote patient-centered care and manage service recovery.
• Represent PPM in community partnerships and professional healthcare forums.
