Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Leader, Supplier Performance to drive supplier performance improvements across multiple locations, including Wichita. You will lead a team of supplier performance analysts, develop metrics, and implement corrective actions with stakeholders across procurement and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of supplier management experience focusing on performance management and improvement.
• Strong soft skills with empathy and patience; proven leadership of analysts.
• Experience leading a team of supplier performance analysts and coaching.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams with shifting priorities.
• Advanced data analysis skills to derive insights and actionable reports.
• Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in risk management and negotiating supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier performance metrics, scorecards, and evaluation criteria.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and communicate feedback to suppliers and stakeholders.
• Create interventions to improve supplier performance, including corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with procurement and quality teams to ensure compliance with contracts, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks related to quality, delivery, and cost.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align supplier performance with business objectives.
• Maintain records of supplier performance data, improvement initiatives, and risk activities.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Lead and coach a team of supplier performance analysts.
