Job summary

Farnsworth Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Project Architect to join our leadership team. You will mentor and guide our architects, grow the practice through client relationships, and lead business development opportunities within core market sectors.

Responsibilities include leading design for multiple market sectors, managing projects from concept to delivery, and developing proposals and contracts while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, NAAB accredited.
• Registered Architect in AZ preferred, NCARB preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in architectural design and planning of facilities within core markets.
• Detailed understanding of construction techniques and the development of final construction documents.
• Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary designer and leadership to multi-disciplinary teams from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with senior staff to mentor, inspire and guide design teams.
• Participate in business development pursuits and generate work with long-term client relationships.
• Develop, review, and approve proposals, reports, and contract documents.
