Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a national architectural engineering and surveying firm, seeks a Project Architect to lead multidisciplinary teams from design through construction on municipal, commercial and higher education projects. You’ll manage budgets, coordinate documentation, mentor staff and contribute to marketing efforts.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, maintain client relationships, ensure code compliance and quality, and help grow our St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, from an accredited program
• Registered Architect status preferred or NCARB
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design and planning
• Strong project management and supervisory experience
• Proven ability to develop new clients and maintain relationships
• Proficiency with Revit is a plus
• Experience with Enscape, Lumion, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams from design through construction
• Manage projects with attention to scope, schedule and budget
• Coordinate production of deliverables and documentation
• Maintain QA and adherence to Farnsworth Group standards
• Collaborate with internal disciplines and external consultants
• Communicate with clients on technical aspects
• Oversee regulatory reviews and submissions
• Manage construction administration tasks including RFIs and submittals
• Mentor junior staff and support business development and marketing
