Job summary

Farnsworth Group's Atlanta office seeks a Project Architect to lead design and project management across life science, municipal, commercial, and higher education markets. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams and help grow our architectural, MEP, and commissioning staff.

The role emphasizes client relations, QA, coordination with internal/external teams, and mentoring junior staff. You will contribute to proposals and interviews while upholding our standards of design excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Masters degree is preferred.
• Registered Architect (NCARB preferred) recommended.
• 10+ years of architectural design and planning experience.
• Strong project management and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand design process and project complexities to contribute to success.
• Coordinate project documentation and deliverables.
• Lead QA and adherence to standards.
• Lead coordination among internal/external teams.
• Communicate with clients on technical matters.
• Administer regulatory reviews and permitting coordination.
• Lead construction contract administration activities.
• Mentor junior staff and provide day-to-day guidance.
• Contribute to proposals and interviews.
